We hope to have our JUNIOR CHURCH program reorganized and staffed by October 2. If you have any questions or would like to serve the Lord through this ministry, please see Pam Parker or Pastor Smith. This does not affect our preschool class for September.

Rhonda Thomas in the fellowship hall. All ladies are invited to
come and be an encouragement to the Thomas family as they look
forward to the “happy event”.

September 11 – Covered-Dish Dinner after the morning worship
service with youth pastor candidate Jeff Schuman and his family as our guests. This is a great opportunity to get to know the Schuman’s
as we look to God’s leading for a new youth pastor!
September 14 – First AWANA Club meeting.
September 17 – AWANA Rorheim Children and Youth Workers Conference. This leadership conference will have specific workshops for each of the following ministries: Sunday School, Junior Church and AWANA workers. Details of the conference are posted on the church office bulletin board. Please see Glenn Parker, Bobby Hager
or Pam Parker to confirm your attendance. The church will pay all expenses associated with this training!

MR. & MRS. JEFF SCHUMAN and their two children will be arriving in Princeton on September 9, and will be with us on Saturday and Sunday. Brother Schuman is a Crown College graduate and is a candidate for the office of youth pastor here at Maranatha. The Schumans will be spending time Saturday with the pastor and deacons. On Sunday, the Schumans will be in our services, with Bro. Schuman preaching on Sunday night. We also will have a covered-dish dinner for the church family and the Schumans after the morning worship service. Pray that the people of Maranatha and the Schumans will discern and follow the will of
God concerning the office of youth pastor.
